At Turning Point’s annual Paint the Night Purple Gala, Bernotas Middle School’s Nicole Thompson was honored with the very first Turning Point Heart Award.

For the Winter Elevate Award, 10 winners were announced out of 42 nominations.

Crystal Lake District 47’s own Trevor Keegan is set to attend the biggest game of his life this weekend. The District 47 alumnus, who attended Glacier Ridge Elementary and Bernotas Middle School, is a left guard (#79) for the Philadelphia Eagles who are in this year’s Super Bowl.

Kindergarteners imagined it, middle schoolers created it! North’s little artists designed frightfully fun monsters, and Bernotas 7th/8th grade FACS students brought them to life, stitch by stitch.

Bernotas Middle School is recognized for the implementation efforts by the Midwest
PBIS Network for the 2023-2024 school year. 

The district is initiating a comprehensive review of our school district boundaries, beginning with the three middle schools, and will be using a Boundary Committee for the review and recommendation process for both phases. Click for more information.
