Dungeons & Dragons Club

Description: What We Do: Players create unique fantasy characters, like brave wizards or clever rogues, and go on imaginary adventures guided by a Dungeon Master.Who Can Join: Open to all middle school students, from complete beginners to experienced players.Skills Learned: Students build reading comprehension, creative problem-solving, math skills, and teamwork in a fun, safe setting.
Environmental Awareness Club

Description: Thursdays, from 2:15pm - 3:00pm. Come and join us where we will be discussing global environmental issues and how we can make our school building a more environmentally friendly place. We will also be creating projects to educate all other students on becoming more ecologically sensitive and better Earth Citizens. Harry Potter Club
Description: Harry Potter Club is the place for all muggles wishing they were wizards! We meet once a month to share all things Harry Potter, play games, and watch the movies.

Please bring your Nintendo Switch to room B9 on Thursday mornings so they can be locked in the classroom cabinet during the day. Nintendo Switch systems will NOT be provided. Some games could include: Mario Kart, Mario Party, Minecraft, and more!
NJHS

Description: This is a drop in club. We will meet 2-3 times per week and head outside for a run. I will be running with the students and we generally run 2-3 miles. You don't have to be a runner to join. We all start somewhere. This is also perfect between sports or for those that just love to run but don't want the commitment of meets. This club meets all year so runners need to come prepared for the weather. Announcements will be made through the google classroom as well as parent square and over the intercom if club is cancelled due to weather. The schedule will also be posted in google classroom. Looking forward to having the opportunity to run with the club!
Retro Gamers Club

Activity Bus info
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY BUS SCHEDULE
2026–2027
Activity buses run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Activity buses provide transportation home for students who stay after school for sports, clubs, and other activities.
These are limited, condensed routes and are not designed to follow students’ regular daily bus routes or stop at their usual bus stops.
Instead, the routes have designated stops that are located close enough to students’ neighborhoods to provide transportation home after activities.
Departure
All activity buses will leave Bernotas Middle School at approximately 4:20 p.m.
Before Boarding
Students will meet in the LMC to sign up for the activity bus route they will be riding that day. An administrator will announce over the intercom when it is time to meet in the LMC.
Important: Buses Only Stop When Needed
Drivers will only stop at locations where a student has signed up that day. If no students are signed up for a particular stop, the bus will not stop there.
Parent Pick-Up
Parents should plan to be at their student’s activity bus stop between 4:25 and 4:45 p.m. Please be prepared for the bus to arrive at any time within this window.

Call TJA at (815) 455-0558. TJA can GPS the bus and provide an estimated arrival time.
